It Begins

Well yesterday was my first day of work. I think things went swimmingly.

I drew out a storyboard for an animation for an internet-coordination sort of company for the fashion industry. Later, I was working on advertisements for them. It got a bit frustrating at times, as I am just beginning to understand the attitude of their campaign and things, but overall, things were good. Camaradery around the office was to my liking. Everyone was pleasant when clients weren't giving them trouble.

My mom got to Tampa yesterday! Even better, she brought my life with her! We went to dinner at a Mexican place down the street from my apartment. Our server was Jamaican, which I thought was funny and yet appropriate... an islander working on an island...

We moved the stuff into the apartment. Then I sort of organized my closet, and called it a night.

This morning I burned a line onto my stomach with the iron. Incidentally, I was not able to get any wrinkles out of my clothes. It would seem that I need practice in this field.

Now I'm at work for day 2! : )
